STUDENT ACCOUNT - PRIOR TERM OUTSTANDING BALANCE

NMSU has the below prior term outstanding balance requirement of less than $600.00 to register for courses. As we understand this could be impactful to students, NMSU wanted to give students time to prepare for the next academic year. Therefore, the following list provides a semester-by-semester prior term balance list and forthcoming changes:

What we do

We administer student accounts, various University departmental receivables, and process retiree insurance billing and payment.

This is the department that generates student billing statements, answers questions about student accounts, and accepts payment for tuition, fees, housing charges, meal plans, and other activities requiring payment.
