Students should follow these steps to enroll in Auto Pay in order to set up recurring payments to their NMSU student account balance.

1. Log into pay.nmsu.edu with your myNMSU username and password

2. From the menu on the left, select Auto Pay.

3. Under NMSU Auto Payment, click on the Sign up link.

   1. Please note: If an Auto Pay for a payment plan is desired, select the link that states "To sign up for or manage auto pay for a payment plan view payment plan details."
   2. The NMSU Auto Pay is not tied to the payment plan. If you are enrolled in the payment plan, it is best to enroll in the Auto Pay under the payment plan option.

4. After clicking on the Sign up link, you will be directed to a new page.

5. Enter the details of the Auto Pay (Each payment amount; First scheduled payment; Payment frequency and Number of payments).

6. Review and agree to the Auto Pay terms and conditions by checking the checkbox, then select Continue.

7. Select Payment method then select Continue.

8. Enter the required banking or debit/credit card information and select Continue.

9. Review details for accuracy, then select Complete.

10. Select Submit to complete the application for Auto Pay.

11. You should receive a screen message stating that Auto Pay has been successfully set up.

12. Select Close to close the page.

13. Select Sign Out twice to sign out.
