General Refund Information

  • Financial Aid refunds are issued the first day of class each semester.
  • UAR strongly recommends that all students sign up for direct deposit of refunds. Students may sign up online via myNMSU.
  • For students who do not use direct deposit, checks can be picked up at University Accounts Receivable.  Checks not picked up after 10 days from the issue date are mailed to the billing address listed on record.
  • All refund checks are made payable to the student. Direct deposit of refunds may go to any bank account designated by the student through myNMSU.
